I had a wedding dress that some other tailors would not work on but Margo was willing to try and make my vision come true. Her results were spot on with what I hoped my dress could look like and I couldn’t be happier. What made me confident in her was that in the initial consultation she reassured me that she wouldn’t stick to just 2 or 3 fittings, and that she is a perfectionist and would do as many fittings that were needed to make it perfect. I live close by so this was great to hear! In the first fitting, we understood the dress and seams better and I think I only needed two follow up fittings after all! She reconstructed/shortened straps and bust, took in sides a little, hemmed the bottom, and added three bustle points. For context, my dress was very simple (no lace or embellishment) with very intentional “princess-like” seams, that needed to remain symmetrical and not visibly altered. The turnaround in late winter/early spring was very quick and was exceptional quality. I received so many compliments on my dress and that it looked custom made just for me.

She is methodical, with an impressive attention to detail, and so intelligent and professional that I trusted her recommendations immediately. Her pricing was fair, never pushy, and always clearly explained. Appointments were fun, and she even accommodated extra garments in our final visits with quick turnarounds when needed. We are extremely happy with both the process and results, and I would highly recommend her for any job, big or small.
